My Why

After years navigating both the clinic and the boardroom, I saw a gap — healthcare strategy was too often driven by people who didn’t practice medicine. That’s why I created EyeQ Consulting: to offer healthcare organizations practical, clinician-led, data-informed solutions that actually work.

My background

I studied business at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and later worked as a strategy consultant at Boston Consulting Group, before completing my medical degree and ophthalmology residency at Michigan Medicine.

Throughout my training, I sought to bridge the gap between clinical care and systemic improvement — a goal that led me to found Med ECG, a pro-bono medical student consulting group focused on hospital operations. My recent work has focused on pioneering the use of time-driven activity-based costing in surgical care, using data to improve operating room efficiency, and helping organizations rethink how they compensate physicians, allocate resources, and address system-level inefficiencies

Today, I apply that same mindset to real-world problems in healthcare. My approach is grounded in clinical experience, informed by strategy, and driven by a commitment to practical, lasting solutions.

My Philosophy

  • Clinician-First

I approach problems with a deep understanding of the challenges physicians and systems face on the ground.

  • Efficient & Realistic

I know time and resources are limited — so I prioritize high-impact, quickly implementable changes.

  • Data-Driven

Whether it’s surgical cost modeling, OR turnover dashboards, or physician compensation strategy — every insight is grounded in real-world data.
